Christ Orphanage Home, Ondo Marks 21st Anniversary Amidst Funfare

Giving to the less priviledged has been described as another way of receiving from God and contributing to societal development.

Speakers at the 21st anniversary of Christ Orphanage Home, Ondo, a faith based non-governmental organisation with focus on caring for abandoned babies, orphans, motherless babies and vulnerable kids,said givers never lack.

Established about 21 years ago, Christ Orphanage home, a non-profit organisation has been a blessing to the less priviledged in Ondo State and beyond.

The proprietor, Christ orphanage home, Evengelist Solayide Olaseinde said the journey which started from God’s calling 21 years ago has been fruitful.

She said the home which started in lagos with four children has now increased to hundreds for both nursery and primary non-fee school to secondary students and others on scholarship.

She highlighted some of the yearly programmes to include: annual skills acquisition and empowerment programme, Scholarship programme, soft loans to the less priviledged, the last Thursday of the Month feeding of widows at All Saints Anglican Church, Ondo among others.

She appealed to government at all levels and other well-to-do individuals in the country to always support the less priviledged.

The event featured special rendition by the kids, cultural displayed, carol songs, spellings competition,presentation awards, Among others.

In his extortation, venerable Ese While appreciating the proprietor of the orphanage home for what she’s been doing, charged her to continue in that path.

According to him,”What you are doing, is that your building generations”

“If you are not doing what u are doing, only God knows where all these children would be by now”.

“We see new things here always, and i pray for all those that have been supporting you”.

The kids who could not hide their joy, thanked the proprietor for giving them hope in life.
