Breaking: Another prominent monarch joins ancestors in Ondo

There are indications that the Aladeokun of Alade in Idanre local government area of Ondo state, Oba Olusegun Akinbola has joined his ancestors.

A source close to the Palace confirmed to Positive FM that the monarch died on Friday in a hospital outside Ondo state.

Oba Akinbola reportedly took ill few weeks ago and had since remained in the hospital until he passed away.

The late monarch became king in 1995 and worked at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

The monarch was a former President of Ondo state 130 Krown Obas.

Only few weeks ago that the Owa-Ale of Ikare-Akoko, Oba Kolapo Adegbite-Adedoyin who was also the President of the group of the Monarchs, joined his ancestors.
