A former aspirant for the Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal Constituency, Ondo State, Hon. Afolami Olabomi has called for massive support for the PDP candidate, Lekan Dada.
Hon. Afolami an America based politician was the runner up to the party’s candidate in the primary election of the party.
He said the bye-election billed for February 3, 2024 is one that must be approached with all seriousness and commitment by all stakeholders.
“I urge all to put whatever differences behind us and face this election with all seriousness and commitment it deserves. Our party is a party to beat in this election. We are popular among the electorate.”
“All we need to do now is to put our house in order and face the election with utmost vigour.” Afolami said.
Hon. Afolami who is also a member of the State Campaign Council for the election described Lekan Dada as a candidate that has all it takes to win the election.
He promised that Lekan Dada would give qualitative representation when he gets to the house of Representatives.
He appealed to the electorate in the federal comstituency to cast the votes for the PDP candidate during the election saying he would not disappoint them.
Afolami equally appealed to security and the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct the election without bias.
