250 Church Leaders Benefit from ANCHOR’s Free Delivery Africa Study Bible

Jun 3, 2022

It was a promise fulfilled on the 28th of May 2022 during the Next-Generation Leaders Summit (NGLS) organized by Anchor International Outreach Ministry, the umbrella body of Anchor Leadership Academy (ALA), and Anchor International Care and Humanitarian Initiative when they trained close to 300 leaders from different denominations and organizations. Each participant was equipped with a copy of the Africa Study Bible, book and workbook worth N35,000 per participant as part of Anchor’s promise to equip leaders. This gesture is in line with our vision and mission statement to raise leaders that will in turn raise next-generation leaders that will be relevant to serving in the church and also be useful in nation building. Also, we will be launching the Train-the-Trainer Leaders’ Book Sets Project(TLBSP) very soon.

The President/National Coordinator of Anchor International Outreach Ministry, Dr. Bolarinwa Michael Omotosho, made this known on Saturday during the Next-Generation Leaders Summit (NGLS) held at West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS). The participants and beneficiaries of the free Africa Study Bible, according to him, include priests of the Nigeria Army Chaplaincy Protestant Services Lagos, priests of the mainline churches, Organization of African Instituted Churches(OAIC), Pentecostal churches, seminarians, school leaders and youth workers, among others.

Omotosho explains that the free Bible distribution was made possible with the co-funding by Anchor International Outreach Ministry and Oasis International Limited through a project called God’s Word for Africa (GWFA). The Regional Director, West Africa, also coordinator of God’s Word for Africa (GWFA) Sola, Onifade, who is unaffordable absent because of his other engagement on the same day to visit one of the correctional centres in the South-South Region of Nigeria, expresses his gratitude for the good coordination and success of the Summit without his presence.

In the last twenty one years, through her organs, Anchor International Outreach Ministry, as a non-for profit interdenominational Christian organization, has equipped over 10,000 ministers of the gospel (Pastors , Missionaries, Evangelists, youth pastors, children’s pastors, and lay leaders) through different types of quality training. These individuals who have been our followers know the quality of what we offer; they are always seeking to grow in faith and leadership development as they are scattered all over the Southwestern Nigerian region, particularly in the suburbs, Omotosho added.

Among the participants who commend and appreciate the organizer and sponsor, some express their gratitude:

“The training programme organized by Anchor International Outreach Ministry is indeed a step in the right direction. It dealt squarely with the urgent need to raise the next generation of leaders today, and the call for all who hold the position of trust in raising those leaders to rise to the occasion. We sincerely appreciate Oasis International and other kingdom partners who made this programmeand the study Africa Bible and other materials available for the participants. “God bless you all.” —Lt Col (Very Revd) J Njoku, Nigeria Army Chaplaincy Service Protestant.

“When you are looking for a soul-lifting and life transforming message release at the right time, then being part of the leadership summit of yesterday, organized by Anchor International Outreach Ministry, is just it.” What a wonderful time in God’s presence. To cap it up, the presentation of the Africa Study Bible, which was presented to 250 people, was the height of it all. In fact, the excitement and joyful mood of receiving the Bible was inexplicable”.– Rev. Moses Ayando of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA)

“The training at the New Generation Leaders Summit was refreshing and educating. The topics and focus of the training were well aligned to current perspectives and challenges in ministry, with concrete steps to handle them for a more effective performance of participants in ministry. The faculty was carefully selected to give adequate experiential knowledge to help the ministers. The free Africa Study Bible given to participants was the icing on the cake of the well packaged program. On behalf of all participants, I wish to register our appreciation to Oasis International for this valuable resource given to us. We look forward to other future programs by Anchor International Outreach Ministry. ” -Rev. Tosin Olapo.  President, Hephzibah Ministry.

“It was a well planned program and really articulated.” I thank God for the grace given me to partake free of charge, sincerely appreciated. It was a timely programme for this hour when the church leaders have compromised and mesmerized the gospel ministry. It was an eye opener for those who do not believe in personal development through seminars and theological education. Kudos to Oasis International for partnering with Anchor International Outreach Ministry to give out 250 Bibles of that magnitude with the rising cost of printing free of charge. It was highly commendable. May God continue to enlarge the scope of the two ministries in Jesus’ name”.Revd. Titi Ajadi of ORTC Mission.

“To God be the glory for the life transforming program held by Anchor International Outreach Ministry yesterday, May 28th 2022. The convener was very wonderful, trusted, and demonstrated a true, trustworthy leader. The lecture presenters were great men of great impartation, and I always wished to have such powerful impartation many times. God bless Oasis International and all the supporters of the great impartation program. Thanks ” Ogundeji Abel Leke PhD

Omotosho, commended all the speakers at the Next-Generation Leaders Summit (NGLS) and said that indeed the participants had drawn biblical leadership and administrative experience from them.
