2024: PDP Governorship Aspirant, Ebiseni Meets Association of Retired Head of Service, Permanent Secretary, Reels off Agenda

It was a beehive of activities for the leading PDP Ondo State Gubernatorial aspirant Chief Olusola Nehemiah Ebiseni (ONE) as he continued his consultation and engagement with critical stakeholders in his quest for the ticket of the party for the governorship of the state.

The climax of the day’s engagements and consultations meeting was with  members of the Association of Ondo State Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in the build up to the forthcoming Gubernatorial election in the state.

The event which took place at the T.A IWAJOMO HOUSE Alagbaka was put together by the members of the Association as a means of interacting with aspirants contesting in the November slated Gubernatorial election with aim of listening to the aspirants on their plans and would be policies for the state.

The event which could be likened to the famous CHATAM HOUSE interactions for leaders throughout the whole world lived up to its billings as the members led by their President, Prince Fioye Bajowa posed questions on governmental administration and policy making to the leading aspirant.

While responding to some of the questions, the Secretary General of Afenifere who is the leading aspirant under the people Democratic Party (PDP) emphasised the need for the state to have a Governor that knows the people, and their different cultures down to the grassroots which will give the Governor the ability to know the peoples’ needs and also the opportunity to provide for an equitable distribution of wealth to the people.

Chief Ebiseni took the opportunity to showcase the five (5) cardinal principles of his manifesto, which centres on security, infrastructure rebirth, Human Capital Development, agricultural revolution, and industrial revolution.

According to the three times Commissioner, Ondo State is massively blessed and only needs a competent and visionary governor to tap into the potentials that exist in the state.

Chief Ebiseni promised to revamp and turn around the moribund Trauma Centre in Ondo and the Mother and Child hospitals built across the state so that the citizens of the state will once again enjoy qualitative and affordable healthcare during his administration. The leading PDP aspirant informed the gathering of his readiness to work with the members of the Association, who he described as an array of intellectual giants in the quest of moving the state forward.

The members of the Association through their President Prince Fioye Bajowa appreciated the leading PDP aspirant for turning up for the event and promised to work with him when he eventually becomes the Governor with the aim of moving the state forward.
