The Arakale, Igbede, Jenyo AIJ Youth forum has distributed food items to no fewer than 200 elders and Widows in the community.
The distribution of the items was to put smile on the faces of the elders and less privileged, especially during this festive period.
The President of the forum, Mr Raphael Adegoroye said the gesture was to give the beneficiaries a sense of belonging.
He said the item was donated by one of the prominent daughters of the community who resides abroad, Mrs Jumoke Babalola.
Mr Adegoroye reiterated his commitment to galvanizing more support to positively impact on the community and the lives of residents.
While promising to rid the area of criminal elements, the President enjoyed the youths to channel their energy towards productive ventures in the new year.
The beneficiaries lauded the initiative, noting that it would go a long way in making the festive season memorable.
