***President, Jide Animasaun Says Foundation ‘ll Continue to Uplift Less Privileged in Coming Years
Giving to the less privileged is often seen as a pathway to receiving blessings from God and fostering societal growth.
This again was brought to the fore when the World Care International Ministry, a non-governmental organization, made contributions to a motherless home.
Their donations included solar-powered energy gadgets, scholarship presentations for students, and the provision of a borehole.
World Care International Ministry, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to helping the needy, donated solar-powered energy gadgets to Christ Orphanage Home in Ondo.
At the unveiling, founder Dr. Jide Animasaun, represented by Mr. Akinola Omotayo, said the organisation is committed to supporting the less privileged.
Dr Animasaun who said the solar equipment will ensure regular power supply to the orphanage pledged his dedication to do more.
“The donation was a promise kept. We can’t allow these children to lack anything. I can assure you, we ll keep assisting the needy.” Animasaun said
The proprietor of Christ Orphanage Home, Solayide Olaseinde, reflected on her 23-year journey that began with a divine calling.
She said the home which started with just four children in Lagos, has grown to serve hundreds, providing free education from nursery through secondary levels.
Expressing gratitude for World Care International Ministry’s ongoing support, Olaseinde urged government officials and affluent individuals to assist the less privileged.
In another initiative, the organisation commissioned a borehole project in Isolo, Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, which was praised by Oba Edward Adewole for its positive impact.
“I have known Jide for a while, he is a cheerful giver. He gives without expecting anything in return. I pray, may thy Lord continue to bless him.”
“I urge you all to own this project and maintain it. I equally enjoin other Isolo sons and daughters to follow suit.” Oba Adewole said
Beneficiaries expressed thanks for the generosity shown by the organisation.
“This borehole is a succour to us especially at this dry season. It would go a long way in addressing the plight of searching for potable water.” They said
Additionally, World Care International Ministry presented awards and scholarships to top-performing students at Oyemekun Grammar School in Akure, celebrating their academic achievements.
Beneficiarie are: Best Student in SS1, Hallelujah David, Best Student in SS2, Olaminiki Emmanuel Isaiah, Best Student in SS3, Olatunde Fash Emmanuel, Indigent Student in SS3, Ogunleye Timilehin, and Best behaved Student who is also the senior Prefect, Oluwalade Damilola Flourish.
The principal of Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, Mr Adeniyi John Oloyede described the gesture as booster and thanked the donor for considering Oyemekun worthy.
The vice chairman of Akure South local government, Hon. Adedayo Ayodele said education is the bedrock of society and commended efforts of Dr Animasaun for reaching out to the students.
He urged the beneficiaries to work more in attaining excellence.
The President of the World Care International Ministry who is equally an old student of Oyemekun Grammar School, Dr Jide John Animasaun said the gesture was to reward excellence and spur others to greatness.
He implored the students to face their studies noting that education opens doors to the future.
World Care International Ministry said it is poised to continue uplifting the less privileged in the coming years.
