The Ondo State chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, has called on the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo to use his appointment as the Chairman, Ondo State Council of Obas to promote peaceful cooexistence among residents of the Sunshine State.
In a message signed by the Chairman, Ishola Lamidi the NIPR “believes that his appointment is not a coincidence but a result of sincerity, excellence, uprightness and dedication and commitment demonstrated in running the affairs of his domain and his passion for the overall development of Ondo State.
NIPR also commends Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for finding Oba Aladetoyinbo worthy for the position especially at this time that a robust synergy between the government and the traditional institution is needed to stem the escalating security situation and division in the country.
While NIPR wishes the monarch well in this new assignment, we challenge him to use his good office to galvanize support of his Council for the present administration in the State to further drive development and to tackle some challenges threatening peaceful coexistence in their domains and Ondo state in general.”
