Ondo Press Week: NUJ donates to Orphanage, as Amotekun Boss delivers Lecture today

ONDO NUJ VISITS ORPHANAGE

As part of the activities designed to mark the press week celebration of Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ), Ondo State Council, the union has visited Ondo State Children Home Akure for the presentation of gift items.

Speaking with Journalists shortly after the presentation, Ondo State Chairman of the Union, Mr Adetona Aderoboye appreciated God protection over the lives of the children saying it’s good to look back and extend milk of human kindness especially to the children of Ondo State Orphanage Home where much is needed to be given.

“The Children are part of us despite the fact that the situation they found themselves is not caused by them.

“We know if this is done and that people also do the same, the children will be happy”, he added.

Appreciating members of NUJ, one of the social workers from Ministry of Women Affairs, Mrs Olotu Eunice Adeyeoluwa thanked the Union for the recognition given to the Children, she said, for the fact that the Union did not disassociate themselves from them, it worthy to be appreciated.
