Hon. Barr. Fola Olasehinde-Vicente has today resigned from her position as Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters to the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyegbusi.
In a letter addressed to the governor and dated February 27, 2026, Olasehinde-Vicente, a former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, said she was stepping down from her appointment with “profound respect and a great sense of responsibility.”
She expressed appreciation to Governor Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity to serve in his administration, noting that the role enabled her to contribute to the welfare of Ondo State indigenes in the diaspora.
The former aide reaffirmed her commitment to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), describing herself as the party’s first-ever elected female member of the Ondo State House of Assembly (ODHA). She pledged to remain a loyal and dedicated member of the party.
Olasehinde-Vicente said her decision to resign was not taken lightly but explained that it had become necessary for her to focus on the next chapter of her political and professional career.
