Ondo APC Felicitates Nigerians at 65th Independence Anniversary, Commends State Government’s Strides
As Nigeria marked her 65th Independence Anniversary, the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed optimism that the nation is firmly on the path to physical and economic rebirth under the renewed hope agenda of the federal government.
In a congratulatory message to Nigerians, the State Government, party leaders, and stakeholders, the APC State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, said the economy is showing signs of recovery, while key sectors such as infrastructure, education, and food security are receiving renewed attention.
“I want to congratulate Mr. Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, party leaders, and all our supporters as they celebrate this year’s Independence Anniversary,” Adetimehin said.
The party particularly applauded the state government’s “Light-up Akure” initiative, describing it as a bold step toward upgrading the state capital and making it a model city. It further commended ongoing developmental efforts aimed at repositioning Ondo State as an enviable seat of government.
APC urged its members and the citizenry to remain supportive of the government’s programmes and policies, stressing that collective optimism and commitment are vital to building a brighter future for Nigeria and Ondo State.
