ONDO APC FELICITATES MEMBERS ON CHRISTMAS

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State rejoices with its members, and all Christians, as the world celebrates the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ today.

The party calls on all to embrace unrestrained show of love, peaceful dispositions, and endless flow of happiness which are the hallmarks of Christmas celebration, as exemplified by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Chairman of the State chapter, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, said lovers of the progressive party have reasons to celebrate, despite all the challenges encountered in 2020.

He lamented the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the destructive version of the #EndSARS protest, which saw assets worth millions of naIra going up in flames, on the economy of Ondo State, saying these affected the State’s ability to implement some laudable welfare programmes. All these notwithstanding, the Lord showed us mercy, and we scaled through unscathed.

He, however, urged Christians to avoid large gatherings, and show respect for all the protocols put in place by government, to contain the Coronavirus pandemic, especially with the second wave.

Adetimehin assures adherents of the ruling party of better and brighter moments ahead, and enjoins them to sustain their strength of character. “While the welfare of our members is paramount to us, I must say that the sacrifices we are making now are imperative for party-building,” he added.

The political tactician wishes APC supporters and all lovers of democracy a wonderful celebration, and a very prosperous New Year ahead.
