Olu Aladodo, Fatoki Gathers Friends to Raise Funds for Community Hall

The sleepy community of Araromi Aladodo in Isinkan kingdom, Akure south local government area of Ondo State came alive on Saturday as eminent personalities thronged the ancient community to lend support for the growth and development of the community.

The Chairman of Akure South Local government, Hon. Gbenga Olaniyi led the council officials to the community while all the Olus in Isinkan Kingdom, High Chiefs, Chiefs, Isinkan sons and daughters as well as residents of Aladodo community graced the occasion.

Youths of Aladodo were not left out as they spiced the event with cultural dance.

The funds raising ceremony coincided with the anniversary of the community.

Addressing the gathering, the Asuda of Isinkan kingdom, Chief Olusanya Fatoki went down memory lane to establish the fact that his great grandfather founded the community.

He sought the cooperation of residents and enjoined them to shun divisive tendencies.

The elated Olu Araromi Aladodo, Ayodeji Charles Fatoki said his dream has always been how to develop the community to a modern town.

He said since he has been installed as the traditional head of the community by the Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula, he has thrived to bring development to the area.

He said he had embarked on free medical outreach, grading of the roads among others.

Olu Aladodo assured that when the community hall comes on stream, it will provide avenue for residents to meet and a platform for government to interact with the people .

“We all know the value of having a hall. It will go a long way not only to generate revenue for us but to project our community to the outside world through the patronage of people.

I therefore urge us all to make good use of this hall for the good of our community.”

The Iralepo of Isinkan Kingdom, Oba Oluwagbemiga Olofin-Adimula who was represented by the Elemo of Isinkan, High Chief Olasehinde Abidakun said Aladodo developmental strides excite the kingdom.

While urging him to keep up the pace, the Iralepo enjoined the residents to corporate with Olu Fatoki for overall development of the community.

The Chairman of Akure South Local government, Hon. Gbenga Olaniyi commended the Olu Aladodo for making the residents his focal points, saying the community hall would give the residents ample opportunities.

He applauded the residents for maintaining peace and urged them to keep it up. “Development can only take place in a rancor-free environment, I commend you for living in harmony and understanding.”

The local government chairman, enjoined the residents to go and collect their PVC and cast their votes for APC in the forthcoming elections.

He pledged to support all the developmental projects in the community including the Hall.
