The management and staff of the Office of Public and Intergenerational Relations in Ondo State have celebrated the former Special Adviser to Governor, Dr.(Mrs) Olubunmi Ademosu-Williams for the various achievements recorded during her tenure.
The management and staff were speaking at a send forth as well as handing-over event held at the office in Akure.
The Acting Permanent Secretary in the Office, Mrs. Yemi Pirisola who reeled out the various impacts of Dr. Ademosu-Williams’ administrative dexterity on the programmes and projects carried out described the former Special Adviser as a round peg in a round hole.
In her words,”the implementation of the Social Investment Programmes in Ondo State has continued to be a reference point In Nigeria as attested to by the national office on many occasions and that is why we are her today to celebrate you ma for making your mark”.
“You have set a standard for us to sustain and we can assured you that the Ondo State government will continue to be proud of this office, considering the various administrative as well as Intergenerational Relationship standard you have set”, the acting Permanent Secretary said.
Pirisola called on the management and staff of the office to continue to keep the flag flying, assuring that enabling and conducive environment would continue to be provided for them to carry out their duties.
Similarly, the State Coordinator of National Social Safety Net, Barrister Olaoluwa Bankole said the former Special Adviser has proven that many exercises that hitherto looked impossible could be carried out to impart positively on the vulnerable and less privileged in the society.
Bankole emphasised that hundreds of thousands benefited from the various Social Investment
Programmes in the state and assured that the staff and management would keep working together to sustain the tempo.
In his comments, former Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Social Investment Programmes, Barrister Felix Alonge appreciated Dr.(Mrs) Olubunmi Ademosu-Williams for creating a conducive and enabling environment for implementation of the social investment programmes in the state.
Responding, former Special Adviser to Governor on Public and Intergenerational Relations, Dr. Olubunmi Ademosu-Williams hinged the volume of the achievents recorded to the reality that staff and management saw the task as a collective responsibility.
She was particularly elated that the opportunity given her by late Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu was a great opportunity to impart positively on the vulnerable and less privileged individuals in the three senatorial districts of the state.
Dr. Ademosu-Williams commended the staff and management for the high degree of cooperation which she said kept her moving at a fast speed, reflecting on the various accolades received by the office from both state and federal governments.
She promised to continue to contribute her quota to both human and societal development wherever she finds herself in the nearest future.
The handing-over event also featured presentation of gifts as a mark of respect and honour to a principal whose tenure was a great justification.
