The House of Representatives Member representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr) Timehin Adelegbe is doing everything humanly possible to reposition the constituency better than he met it.
This is evident in the series of billions of Naira mega empowerment programmes, landmark projects and financial assistance he has been rendering to his constituents in the last five and half years.
While meeting with Chairmanship and Councilorship candidates of APC from Owo and Ose yesterday, Otunba Adelegbe vowed to continue building more lasting legacies that will be difficult to forget in a hurry.
According to him, “despite my monumental achievements in the areas of physical infrastructure across the two council areas, I will soon commence the foundation laying of Owo and Ifon township stadia, Ipele town hall, Usuada town hall, Completion of Ute road, renovation of Amadiya Secondary School Owo, Irekari Grammar School Idoani, Borehole at Ogbomo in Owo among others”.
In addition to the above, the federal lawmaker, Otunba Adelegbe announced the sum of N20m as a support for the campaign and other logistics for all the APC candidates in the coming local government election He therefore appeal to the candidates not to misuse the opportunities given to them by the party.
Responding on behalf of candidates from Ose, the Chairmanship candidate, Bar. C.K. Ojo thanks Hon. Adelegbe for the gesture saying act of giving is a gift from God adding that Adelegbe has shown enough capacity to be a true leader.
Also responding, the Chairmanship candidate from Owo, Elder Tope Omolayo who describes Adelegbe as humble, honest, loyal and faithful says he’s leaving big shoes that may be difficult for others to wear.
The two Chairmanship candidates, their running mates and all the 23 Councillorship candidates were full of thanks to Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe as they showered encomiums on him for being a trail blazer in the Owo/Ose Federal constituency, judging from his monumental achievements.
