In a colourful and well-attended handover ceremony, the Rotary Club of Akure Prestige ushered in a new era of leadership and service, reinforcing its unwavering commitment to humanitarian ideals and community development.
Held at the Rotary Civic Centre, adjacent to the Oba’s Palace in Alagbaka, Akure, the event marked the official transition of stewardship from the outgoing president, Rotarian Oloruntoba Adegoke, to the newly inducted president, Rotarian Ajibade Dauda Kolawole.
The atmosphere was charged with excitement and camaraderie as Rotarians, guests, and well-wishers gathered to witness the symbolic passing of the baton, a tradition that not only signifies continuity but also celebrates the shared values of service, fellowship, and excellence.

At the heart of his agenda is a flagship project focused on the renovation and equipping of hostels at the Ondo State School for the Hearing Impaired in Akure, a gesture that underscores the club’s commitment to inclusivity and support for vulnerable populations.
