JUST IN: Iralepo: Oba Olugbenga Ojo Completes Ileoye rites, Visits Yeye Grove + PHOTOS

The Iralepo-elect, Oba Olugbenga Ojo Adimula Arulewolasi III has continued to perform traditional rites preparatory to being crowned as the 49th Oba of Isinkan and the 38th Iralepo on the Ora dynasty.

The Elemo of Isinkan, High Chief Olasehinde Abidakun today announced that the mandatory seven days traditional Obaship installation’s rites at Asamo residence have ended.

He said after consultation with Ifa Isikan, the Iralepo-elect has been mandated to visit Yeye grove before proceeding to Igbo oye.

The visit will be the 4th stage of the traditional instalation rites being performed by Oba Arulewolasi III.

The Oba’s rites started when the Uharefa triggered the Uhal’opo ceremony marking the formal announcement of Prince Olugbenga as the next Iralepo and his subsequent conferment with the “Orunmobato” title.

He had at mid-night on Sunday 24th October, 2021, gone through “Orikogbofo” rite where the Iralepo-elect dropped the usual cap for the traditional one.

Oba Olugbenga Adimula Arulewolasi III was at Ileoye at Asamo’s residence for seven days which ended today 2nd of November, 2021.
