Your Excellency,
On behalf of the Council of Chiefs, elders, and the entire people of the ancient Isinkan Kingdom, I extend warmest congratulations and royal blessings to you, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the occasion of your 100 days in office as the Executive Governor of Ondo State.
This moment is not only a symbolic marker of time, but a reflection of purposeful leadership, deliberate action, and a clear vision for the development and unity of Ondo State. Your assumption of office came at a critical time in the political and administrative life of our state, yet you embraced the call of duty with calm resolve, maturity, and uncommon wisdom.
Your Excellency, within this short but eventful period, your administration has hit the ground running with initiatives that are already yielding visible results. You have prioritized the needs of the people and focused on tangible developmental strides.
We commend, in particular, your bold interventions in infrastructure development, with major and strategic road projects underway across the state. These include the rehabilitation and construction of key roads that are improving access to rural communities, stimulating local economies, and restoring confidence in governance.
The employment of thousands of workers into the state civil service is another landmark achievement that speaks to your commitment to reducing unemployment and empowering the youth. This has brought relief to many homes and shown your belief in building a government anchored on human capital development.
As custodians of culture and grassroots governance, we must also profoundly appreciate your historic and courageous decision to commence the monthly release of five percent (5%) of the local government allocation to traditional rulers. This policy has reinvigorated the traditional institution, enabling royal fathers across the state to play their roles more effectively in maintaining peace, promoting culture, and supporting local governance.
Your Excellency, I must also specially acknowledge your deliberate and consistent efforts at maintaining peace and security across Ondo State. In a time when several states grapple with instability, you have sustained a climate of calm through inclusive dialogue, proactive engagement with stakeholders, and the strengthening of security architecture.
In this regard, the Isinkan Kingdom is especially grateful for your firm and fair handling of matters relating to our community. Your administration has shown maturity and sensitivity in allowing peace to reign and ensuring that the traditional structure of Isinkan is respected in line with our history and heritage. We deeply value the role you have played — directly and through the relevant state institutions — in preserving the peace in Isinkan and discouraging divisiveness or undue interference.
The people of Isinkan hold your leadership in high regard, not only because of what you have done, but also because of how you have done it — with humility, respect, and a genuine love for Ondo State.
Your Excellency, the first 100 days of your administration have laid a solid foundation. We are confident that, with continued divine guidance, your journey ahead will be marked by even greater accomplishments.
As the Iralepo of Isinkan Kingdom, I reaffirm our unflinching support and prayers for your success. We remain your dependable partners in peace, progress, and development.
Congratulations once again, Your Excellency. May your reign be peaceful, impactful, and remembered for good in the annals of Ondo State’s history.
Long Live Ondo State!
Long Live Isinkan Kingdom!
Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
Signed,
Oba Oluwagbemiga Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III)
