The Iralepo of Isinkan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III), has congratulated Engineer Gboye Adegbenro, Founder and Principal Partner of AGE Consults Limited, on the occasion of his 55th birthday.
In his goodwill message, the monarch described Engineer Adegbenro as a distinguished professional, an accomplished public servant, and a worthy son of Ilara-Mokin whose contributions to the infrastructural development of Ondo State remain remarkable.
Oba Olofin-Adimula noted that Adegbenro’s commitment to excellence and selfless service has continued to inspire a new generation of leaders and professionals within and beyond the state.
Engineer Adegbenro, a respected figure in the engineering profession, founded AGE Consults Limited in September 2005, where he practiced until April 2009 before being appointed Senior Special Assistant on Infrastructure to the Governor of Ondo State.
He later served as Special Adviser on Infrastructure in January 2010, and was subsequently appointed Acting Commissioner for Works, before becoming the substantive Commissioner for Works in September 2010.
Following the 2012 governorship election, he was reappointed when the cabinet was reconstituted in 2013 and served until the end of the administration’s second term — making him the longest-serving Commissioner for Works in Ondo State, having held the position for six years, six months, and five days.
Adegbenro is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), and the Association of Consulting Engineers of Nigeria (ACEN).
The monarch prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments for the celebrant, while expressing confidence that his wealth of experience will remain invaluable to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
“Engineer Gboye Adegbenro represents hard work, integrity, and devotion to service. On this special day, I join his family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating a true ambassador of Isinkan,” Oba Olofin-Adimula stated.
