History was made in the Sunshine State, southwest Nigeria last night as a new Miss Ondo state International 2020 emerged after a competitive contest.
She is Akinde Ayomide Love from Idanre local government.
Akinde Love was on Sunday crowned the winner of the beauty pageant organised by King Odunayo Entertainment and other partners.
In the maiden event that had prominent personalities in the entertainment industry in attendance, Akinde Love beat other finalists following the result of the panel of judges independently selected for the event.
They are Ademola Ojele , Mrs Omowunmi Ariyo, Atolusi Damilola Antor and Idera .
Akinde love who took home the ultimate prize of a car and other prizes, was selected among the seven finalists at the grand finale.
Other contestants who were also crowned at the event were Akinkunmi Praise Damilola (Miss Ondo state INTL Teen ), Aminat aromeh chinazom (Miss ONDO state INTL Charismatic ),Obanla Oluwatosin Sarah (Miss ONDO state Culture and Tourism ) and Bayode Ademide glory (Miss Ondo State INTL Top Model ).
They also went home with different prizes including cars.
The contestants were engaged in unity dance as well as traditional dance, while they were also drilled on issues affecting women in the society.
The contestants came from 12 out of the 18 local government areas of Ondo state for the pageant .
Akinde love expressed joy over her victory and thanked the organisers of beauty pageant for the opportunity given her.
