The Livitsar Support Group for Alia/Tinubu 2027 has donated 35 solar-powered motorized boreholes with reticulation and embarked on a series of empowerment and humanitarian programmes across the 23 local government areas of Benue State in support of the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia.
The group, founded by Engineer Livinus Tsar, a close ally of Governor Alia, has also distributed food items, relief materials, and financial aid to vulnerable residents, positioning itself as a leading grassroots movement in the state and the Middle-Belt.
Speaking in a telephone interview, Chairman of the group’s Board of Trustees, Chief Philips Achuah, said the Livitsar Support Group has distinguished itself by demonstrating how individuals outside government can make meaningful contributions to governance and social welfare.
“We’ve touched lives across all parts of Benue State. The people feel the impact of government through the efforts of our group and its founder,” Achuah stated.
He revealed that the group aims to deliver over two million votes for President Tinubu and Governor Alia in the 2027 elections and has started voter sensitization campaigns across Benue and other Middle-Belt states, including Kogi, Nasarawa, Taraba, and Plateau.
On his part, the Benue State Chairman of the group, Pastor Jacob Agede, said the group has established offices in all 23 local government areas and council wards of the state.
According to him, “We are the only support group with this kind of wide reach and impact. Through the personal efforts of Engineer Tsar, we’ve completed 35 solar-powered boreholes and plan to cover all council wards in the state. We’ve also installed solar streetlights in eight rural communities.”
Agede added that the group is constructing a bridge linking Ushongo and Vandeikya LGAs and has distributed several truckloads of rice, garri, maize, and beans to vulnerable residents. Thousands of women and youths have also benefited from financial empowerment initiatives, while Hollandaise wrappers have been given to widows and traditional rulers.
He emphasized that over one million members have already been mobilized across the state to drive support for the 2027 campaigns, noting that “Alia is indirectly championing Tinubu’s re-election through the impactful projects carried out by his ally, Engineer Tsar.”
Agede concluded that with additional support, the group is ready to deliver millions of votes in 2027, having already spent millions of naira on boreholes, food distribution, and the purchase of motorcycles for community mobilization.
