The Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT), Ondo State chapter, has concluded plans to take its Asiwaju Tiwantiwa Market Outreach tagged E-Lo-So-Loja to major markets across the 18 local government areas of the state.
The initiative is designed to showcase the achievements of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to market women and traders while also providing empowerment opportunities at the grassroots level.
According to the GMT Director of Media, Mr. Ojo Oyewamide, the outreach, scheduled to commence in the second week of April, will see GMT team visit key markets across the state, engaging traders and supporting market women through empowerment efforts.

The programme will be led by the Iyaloja of GMT in Ondo State, Deaconess Olufunke Adesida, alongside other market leaders under the coordination of Deaconess Lola Fagbemi.
Deaconess Fagbemi brings a wealth of public service experience to the initiative, having served as Councillor, Special Adviser on Women Affairs, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Commissioner for Physical Planning and, most recently, Commissioner for Women Affairs.
The outreach will kick off in Ondo West on April 7 before moving to major markets in Akure South on April 9.

The second phase of the programme, sponsored by the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, is scheduled to commence in May.

GMT calls on market men and women across the participating local government areas to turn out in large numbers and actively engage with the initiative.
The group seeks continued grassroots support for both the programme and the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
