***Tinubu Deserves Nigerians’ Continued Support — Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye
The Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) in Ondo State has inaugurated its ward and local government executives in Akoko Southeast and Akoko Southwest Local Government Areas.
The colourful ceremonies, held on Tuesday in Ishua-Akoko and Oka-Akoko, attracted leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), women and youth groups, and party supporters.

Addressing the gatherings, the GMT State Director-General, Hon. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves the continued support of Nigerians, noting that his reforms have helped to stabilize the economy and restore investor confidence.
He explained that the group decided to hold the inaugurations across the local governments to strengthen grassroots mobilization rather than stage a single event in Akure.

“Politics is local. We want to take the message to the people’s doorsteps and speak their language,” he said.
Yusuf-Ogunleye also commended the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his support to the movement and his contributions to the development of Ondo State.

In his remarks, GMT State Secretary, Hon. Rasheed Badmus, described President Tinubu as “the best thing that has happened to the Yoruba race in recent times,” adding that Ondo State has benefited immensely under his administration, particularly through ministerial appointments and key infrastructure projects.
APC chieftains, including Elder Babalola Oguntuase and Hon. Akin Awolumate, urged members to remain patient and supportive, expressing confidence that Tinubu’s policies would yield long-term benefits for the nation.

The newly inaugurated GMT executives in Akoko Southeast and Akoko Southwest pledged to intensify grassroots sensitization on the achievements of the Tinubu administration in their respective communities.
