The Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT), Ondo State chapter, has congratulated its Central Senatorial Director, Deaconess (Hon.) Omolola Julianah Fagbemi, on her elevation as the new Leader of the Christ Apostolic Church Good Women Association, Nigeria and Overseas.
In a statement signed by GMT’s Director of Media, Oyewamide Ojo, the movement described the appointment as “a divine recognition of her decades of selfless service, unshakable faith, and unwavering commitment to humanity.”
Deaconess Fagbemi, celebrated for her grace, resilience, and sterling record in public service, has held key positions in Ondo State, including Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development; immediate past Commissioner for Women Affairs; Special Adviser to the Governor; and Councillor.
Across these roles, she championed life-changing initiatives, empowered communities, and upheld the values of integrity and service. GMT noted that her transition into this spiritual leadership role is a natural progression for a woman whose life has been a testimony to service—both to God and to humanity.
“This honour is a testament to Deaconess Fagbemi’s tireless dedication, nurturing spirit, and deep-rooted faith,” the statement read. “We are confident she will bring the same passion, wisdom, and compassion that defined her political career to this sacred calling in the Lord’s vineyard.”
GMT prayed for God’s continued guidance, strength, and grace upon her as she leads women in Nigeria and the diaspora, affirming that her elevation is an inspiration to countless women and a reminder that faith, service, and perseverance open doors to greater heights.
