The installation and Iwuye ceremony are scheduled to hold on Tuesday, October 7, at the Palace of the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II.

The event is expected to feature a display of Akure’s rich cultural heritage, with traditional performances and reflections on the role of traditional institutions in the development of Akure Kingdom and the Yoruba nation.

Dignitaries, including top government functionaries, traditional rulers, community leaders, family members, and friends from within and outside the state, are expected to grace the ceremony.

The celebration will climax with a reception at Pharmacy House, near the Government House, Akure.

Speaking ahead of the ceremony, Chief (Mrs.) Oluwadare described the recognition as both an honour and a call to greater service.

“This is a challenge to continue to contribute my quota to the growth of Akure Kingdom and the wellbeing of our people,” she said.

Chief (Mrs.) Oluwadare is widely known for her contributions to women’s empowerment, maternal health, and community development during and after her public service career.
