***Isinkan Sons and Daughters Excited by Project – Iralepo
The Federal government has started construction work on old Aponmu – road, off Ondo road in Isinkan kingdom, Akure South local government area of Ondo State.
The 2.2 kilometers road project was awarded by the Federal Ministry of Works, Abuja.
The project was facilitated by the Iralepo palace and sons and daughters of Isinkan town.
Construction of drainage has started on the road at Iralepo market, Oluloye Olisa Isinkan family layout, off Ondo road.
At a meeting held at the site with the contractor handling the project, Engineer Clinton Asebioyo, the leadership of Landlord Associations and the Commercial Motorcyclists, the Iralepo of Isinkan Oba Oluwagbemigba Ajimokunola Olofin-Adimula (Arulewolasi III) appreciated the Federal Government for the intervention.
Represented by the Olisa of Isinkan, High Chief Kayode Oluyi, the Iralepo solicited the support and cooperation of residents of the area with the contractor to aid smooth work at the site.
While saying the project is another Federal Government”s support for the ancient town of Isinkan, Oba Olofin-Adimula noted that early this month the Federal Government had installed solar streetlights within the palace to the excitement of residents.
He expressed optimism that more Federal Government projects would be executed in Isinkan community.
The Iralepo thanked his friends and Isinkan Sons and daughters who were instrumental to the road construction.
He said the road when completed would facilitate economic development of Isinkan kingdom, especially in parts of the kingdom that are chiefly agrarian.
“Once again, I’m excited with the level of interest and commitment the people of Isinkan have shown and for their support for our quest to rapidly develop our kingdom. I thank you for this uncommon solidarity.”
“By the grace of God, more infrastructural development will soon take place. We are exploiting our contacts across the globe”, the Isinkan Monarch added.
The representative of the contractor handling the project, Engr. Clinton Asebioyo said the road would be constructed to international standards.
He assured that the project would be completed within three months and solicited cooperation from the residents.
The Chairman of Landlord Association, Information village, Engr. Olusola Daramola and the Chairman of Okada riders in the zone, Mr. John Moses applauded Oba Iralepo for facilitating the project and the Federal Government for promptly embarking on the construction.
They said the project would go a long way in alleviating the sufferings of residents and boost their economic well being.
