Following recent destruction of some property in Okitipupa during #EndSars protest, a former local government chairman in Okitipupa, Pastor Larry Ogunmusire has donated a building as a temporary office space for the council’s secretariat.
Ogunmusire’s intervention is coming on the heels of the destruction of the council secretariat by hoodlums during the recent endsars violence in the town.
The former council boss who decried the large scale damages in area by the miscreants said the building was his own widowsmite and community support.

“The violence that trailed the EndSars protests is condemnable in all ramifications. There is no justification for the destruction of properties by the hoodlums.”
He appealed to all notable sons and daughters of the community to come together and strategize on how rebuild the council area.
“This is not a time for politicking but a sober reflection on this sad incident and the way forward. I appeal to all our traditional rulers to help midwife the rebuilding process of our town.
Ogunmusire also advised youths to always channel their grievances through lawful means and desist from been used as destructive elements in society.
“This large scale arson is a great setback for our community with attendant socioeconomic implications. I pray we will be able to regain all lost grounds and truly make Okitipupa the pride of the southern senatorial district,” he lamented.
