The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has commended a member of house of Representatives representing Owo/Ose federal constituency, Hon.(Dr) Timehin Adelegbe for been a worthy ambassador of his people.
The Governor who is also the APC candidate in the coming November 16th governorship election said this at the grand finale of N1billion mega empowerment program at Owo, headquarters of Owo LGA of the state.
The arrival of the governor to Owo township stadium, venue of the program electrified the arena as the crowd went into jubilation as they welcome him with pumps and pungantory.
Addressing the crowd, Aiyedatiwa said, “it can only take a man with large heart and genue love for his people to invest on these huge empowerment in his people. In short, I must congratulate the people of Owo and Ose, you are indeed lucky to have Adelegbe as your representative at the National Assembly, what I’m seeing here today is a clear testimony that you have individually & collectively made the right choices”.
“I am proud of this excellent performance, this is a huge empowerment, I must confess, this massive empowerment will definitely translate to huge votes for our party APC on Saturday, 16th of November as you can only continue to enjoy of these kind of empowerment if you return us to power as we cannot afford to be in the opposition at the state”.
Welcoming the Governor, the donor, Hon. Adelegbe explained that the mega empowerment was the sixth since he was elected as member, house of Representatives representing Owo/Ose federal constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja.
As he put it, “every year, I must remember my people and I will not stop giving back to my people who elected me”.
“Your Excellency and the good people of Owo and Ose, let me use this good opportunity to inform you that, in few weeks time, i will flag-off the construction of seven kilometer Ute road, Owo & Ifon township stadiums. These are in addition to the ongoing solar lights in various communities in Owo and Ose where I have built palaces, town halls and bridges to appreciate my people”.
Adelegbe concluded by saying, “all I need is to imploy you to reciprocate this gesture and vote massively for APC and the candidate of our party, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on Saturday 16th November.
Some of the elated beneficiaries who cannot hide their joy thanked the donor, Hon. Adelegbe for contributing to their businesses especially at this critical period.
Items distributed at the ceremony include Motorcycles, Hair Dryers, Sewing Machines, Water Pump Machines, Generators, Keke Napep, Volcanizing Machines, Freezers and Refrigerator.
Dignitaries at the occasion include cabinet members, state executive of APC, party stalwats from Owo & Ose, Local and LCDA Chairmen, local government executives from both council areas among others.
Also in attendance are the royal fathers, Olowo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye, Onidogun, Oba Moses Ekundayo Bakare, Alafo, Oba Stephen Adegoke Egunjobi, Olupeme, Olute, Oluyere, Asuada and Onipele all added glamour to the colorful event.
