As Muslim faithful celebrate Eld-el-Adha on Tuesday, a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC in Ekiti State Dr Oluwole Olumayokun Oluyede has called for moderate celebrations.
Dr Oluyede who rejoiced with Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion called for continuous prayers for peaceful coexistence of the Nation.
The Governorship hopeful noted that “the celebration shows an exemplary life with commitment, obedience and sacrifice lived by Prophet Ibrahim (ASW).”
Dr Oluyede commended the level of religious tolerance in Ekiti State and call for sustenance of the tempo.
He urged the people to be mindful of the dreaded Covid-19 new variants and emphasized that celebrations should be in line with laid down protocols.
