As Christians across the country celebrate Easter, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, has called on the faithful to reflect the virtues of Jesus Christ in their daily lives.
In a message released on Sunday by the APC Publicity Secretary in the state, Alex Kalejaye, Adetimehin urged Christians to embody qualities such as unconditional love, forgiveness, peacefulness, kindness, and compassion—values exemplified by Christ.
He praised Christians in Ondo State for their steadfastness, commitment to humanity, and continuous support for the ruling party, noting that such backing has helped foster development in the state.
“The resurrection of Christ is not just a celebration; it is a call to live by example, to be compassionate and forgiving, and to promote peace and unity in our society,” Adetimehin said.
He expressed optimism that the Easter season would promote harmony among Nigerians, regardless of religious, political, or ethnic affiliations.
The APC chairman also reaffirmed the state government’s dedication to unbiased development, pointing to the current budget as proof of its inclusive governance.
“We must continue to defend and support our government, our state, and our party,” he said. “With unity of purpose and peace, there is no limit to what we can achieve.”
He further encouraged leaders and individuals to reach out to the less privileged through acts of charity, stressing that such gestures align with the spirit of the Easter season.
The party extended its warm Easter wishes to all Christians in Ondo State and beyond.
