AGBOOLA REACTS TO ONDO POLL RESULT

APPRECIATION

On behalf of AGBOOLA/GBOYE Campaign Organization and the Zenith Labour Party ( ZLP), I want to formally appreciate our leaders, members of our great party and particularly the good people of Ondo state for your support, cooperation and show of love towards our party through your votes for the Zenith Labour Party during the gubernatorial election held yesterday, Saturday 10th October, 2020.

I wish to specially commend the resilience, doggedness and strong determination of the National Leader of our party, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, the Ondo State chairman of ZLP, Joseph Akinlaja, all members of the state Executive Committee, party leaders and the good people of this state in the face of naked intimidation, harrassment, threat and blatant abuse of state powers by the ruling APC government before and during the election.

Your overall performance was highly commendable and historical. May God reward your show of love and compassion towards this worthy political project – the AGBOOLAGBOYE gubernatorial contest.

The party, after the collation of reports from our various field officers, may take an official position on this election in the coming days.

Once again, thank you and God bless all of us.

Dr. Kola Ademujimi.
Director General.

BOROFFICE SAYS ONDO GUBER ELECTION WAS CREDIBLE, CONGRATULATES AKEREDOLU

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Senate and senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Prof. Ajayi Boroffice has felicitated with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on his re-election victory.

In a press statement issued by his media aide, Kayode Fakuyi, the senator said, “the election was credible and Akeredolu’s victory is richly deserved”.

I commend the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for putting up a stellar performance. It is particularly comforting that there were no reported cases of rigging, snatching of ballot boxes and disenfranchising or intimidation of eligible voters.

Likewise, I salute the security agencies for their professional conducts during the election. They did not only douse pre-election tension, they also put in place water-tight security measures that made peaceful election possible in Ondo State.

Before the election, I urged all APC members in Ondo State to come together, work together and win together. The win has been delivered and I congratulate all members of Ondo APC for the richly derserved win.

Conclusively, I urge Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to be magnanimous in victory. The second term mandate offers another opportunity to mobilise all relevant stakeholders for the development of Ondo State.

SIGNED:
Kayode Fakuyi,
Media Aide to DML, Senate.
