Breaking: Tension as Two persons shot dead in Ondo in reprisal attack

Two persons have been reportedly shot dead at Akungba-Akoko in Ondo state by suspected cultists in a reprisal attack following alleged killing of a rival member last week in Akure.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when a rival cult group alleged shot one of the victim at a location in Akungba which has caused palpable tension in the host community of Adekunle Ajasin University.
One of the deceased boys is simply known as “AY Killer” while the second person who is from Akungba was killed in Akure last Saturday.
A security source that confirmed this to SUNSHINETRUTH, said only AY Killer was killed in Akungba.
Reacting to the incident of last Saturday’s killing, the State Police public relations officer, Tee-Leo Ikoro said the state Commissioner of Police, Bolaji Salami had ordered investigation into the case of an alleged assassination.
