***Says the WAEC fees has Lifted Heavy Burden off Shoulders of many Families

The Atayese of Egbira in Isinkan kingdom and a businessman, Salaudeen Echichi, has expressed gratitude to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for paying the registration fees for the 2024 West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for the students.

Last year, the Governor, announced the payment of N550 million for the exam for eligible public secondary school candidates in the state, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to education.

While thanking the Governor, Atayese of Egbira in Isinkan kingdom, Salaudeen Echichi, said the gesture has removed the financial burden of paying the fees from parents and lessen the current hardship being faced in the country.

He commended the governor for prioritizing education over other forms of assistance, stating that the payment of WAEC fees was more beneficial.

Also his wife, the Yeye Atayese of Isinkan kingdom, Mariam Echichi expressed relief and appreciation for the governor’s intervention, highlighting the immense help it provided in easing financial burden on parents. 

She said that the payment of WAEC fees had lifted a heavy burden off the shoulders of many students and their families.
