The people of Alagbado Community in Orita Obele, Akure, have congratulated Prince Poroye Biyi on his recent appointment as Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC).
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Community, Pastor Makanjuola Ojo, the residents described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Prince Poroye’s unwavering dedication to service, visionary leadership, and longstanding commitment to grassroots development.
According to the community, the appointment of one of their own into such a strategic position is not only a source of pride but also a beacon of hope for greater development in oil-producing areas and the entire Ondo State.
“We are confident that his tenure will usher in progress and positive transformation. As a respected son of the soil, we are proud to see him rise to this level of responsibility,” the statement read.
The community prayed for divine wisdom and strength for the new OSOPADEC boss and pledged their full support for his administration.
Prince Poroye Biyi was recently appointed by the Ondo State Government to lead OSOPADEC, the agency responsible for the development of oil-producing areas in the state.
