Feb 28, 2022

THANK YOU FOR HONOURING ME WITH YOUR VOTES

To the good people of Akure South/Akure North Federal Constituency, a warm greeting to you all.

I may fall short of words to express my emotions and gratitude for the opportunity I have received to be elected as your representative in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.

I am both humbled and honoured that you have placed your confidence and support in me from all the communities in the 23 wards of our constituency. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this mandate you have given to me.

I want to thank our dear Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, for his fatherly role through the primary and the bye-election. I am indebted to Mr. Governor for providing a level playing ground for all contenders in the primary and for his support towards our victory in the bye-election.

I will like to also express heartfelt thanks to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by our Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, as well as the Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Chief Tayo Alasoadura and all the leaders of the party who made moral, physical and financial contributions for us to regain this federal constituency from the opposition.

My special appreciation goes to leaders and members of the various campaign committees of the party, as well as my fellow aspirants in the last primary election for the support and contributions to our victory.

To all the members of our great party in Akure North and South, I am eternally grateful. Many of you spent your time, energy and resources in contributing to the success of our campaign and election and I sincerely thank each of you. I could not have done this without you.

I am immensely grateful to family, friends and loyal supporters who so generously contributed their time and effort to our campaign and election. Many of you went through abuse, assault, blackmail and threats but you stood firm in the cause and this victory has been your reward.
Ahead of me is a huge task of reengineering the development of our constituency and I will try my best to fulfill your expectations.

Thanking you once again!
