The Federal Lawmaker representing Akoko North East/North West in the House of Representatives, Rep. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has described as painful the demise of the Owa Ale of Ikare-Akoko, Oba Samuel Kolapo Adegbite-Adedoyin.

While revelling the beautiful life spent by the King, BTO noted that he was passionate about Akoko and was deeply committed to seeing an Akoko that would thrive among the league of communities.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on New Media, Alao Babatunde on Wednesday morning, the Chairman of the House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) prayed for the repose of the King’s soul.

He added, “His counsels were wise and borne out of love and deeply rooted experience. I believe Kabiyesi no doubt, left us a legacy of patriotism, fidelity and sincerity to the goals of unity and development that have and will continue to resonate with us as a people.”

“I pray the Almighty receives his soul and grant the family, Akoko and Ondo State the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”

Oba Adegbite joined his ancestors in the early hours of Tuesday after 85 years of age.
