In a determined effort to uplift the vulnerable, the Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Mobilization, Dr. Stephen Omobamidele Agbi, has provided meaningful financial support to widows and underprivileged individuals in Akoko North West Local Government Area.
The empowerment programme, which drew representatives from all ten wards of the local government, featured direct cash assistance distributed by Dr. Agbi to hundreds of beneficiaries.
Reaffirming his unwavering loyalty, Dr. Agbi pledged continued support for the administrations of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He emphasized his commitment to grassroots development and poverty alleviation in the region.

The Chairman of Arigidi/Iye Ward 1—Dr. Agbi’s political ward—commended him for his consistent efforts in reducing poverty and improving the welfare of residents. According to him, Dr. Agbi has always demonstrated love for his people through generous and impactful initiatives.
Also speaking at the event, Abiola, a representative from the Arigidi/Iye/Erusu LCDA, applauded Dr. Agbi for leveraging every opportunity to empower residents and strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the grassroots level.

More than 500 beneficiaries, including widows and other vulnerable individuals, expressed deep appreciation for the gesture. Speaking on their behalf, Mrs. Akanni Deborah described the empowerment as unprecedented within their political party. Mrs. Orimogunje Felicia also offered heartfelt prayers for Dr. Agbi and his team, thanking them for their generosity.


In his remarks, Dr. Agbi reiterated his commitment to supporting the APC and his constituents. He promised to continue using both his political platform and personal resources to fight poverty in Akoko North West, while actively contributing to the success of ongoing economic reforms led by President Tinubu.
The event was well attended by notable political figures and community leaders, including Hon. Tope Sanya (former Special Assistant to Governor Ambode), Hon. Ojo Malomo, Hon. Adesuyi Adojutelegan, High Chief Hon. Ojo Abiola (Chairman of Arigidi/Iye/Erusu LCDA), Hon. Awolumate Olumide (Ward 1 Chairman), Hon.
