Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of new members into the board of the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) as part of ongoing efforts to reposition the education sector.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, listed the appointees as Mrs. Oluwadaisi Oke, who will serve as Chairman; Hon. Ajani Oladipupo, Mrs. Titilayo Fayoriju, Mrs. Ojuolape Flora Adeyemi, and Alhaji Isiaka O. Usman as full-time members.
Others appointed as part-time members are the Chairman of the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), Chairman of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA), and representatives from the Ministries of Budget and Economic Planning, Education, and Finance.
In a related development, Governor Aiyedatiwa also named his Senior Special Assistant on Information Technology, Hon. Tomide Akinribido, as the Executive Chairman of the Ondo State Information Technology Agency (SITA).
