An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ondo State, Mr. Femi Meshe, has felicitated the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a rare blend of political sagacity, administrative competence and compassionate leadership whose stewardship continues to redefine governance in the Sunshine State.
In a birthday message released to the press, Meshe said Governor Aiyedatiwa represents a new generation of leaders within the APC, leaders who combine political depth with humility, firmness with empathy, and vision with a clear understanding of the yearnings of the people.
According to him, since assuming office, Governor Aiyedatiwa has provided Ondo State with a steady compass, consolidating governance at a critical time and restoring confidence in the machinery of government through his calm, inclusive and purposeful leadership.
“Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is a man shaped by experience and guided by destiny. He governs with a listening ear, a courageous heart and an unwavering commitment to the collective progress of Ondo State. His leadership has brought stability, reassurance and renewed hope to our people,” Meshe stated.
The APC chieftain noted that under the governor’s watch, the state has recorded notable progress in infrastructure expansion, workers’ welfare, educational development, healthcare delivery and security coordination, stressing that his administration has continued to open up communities through strategic road projects, prioritised the dignity of labour through prompt payment of salaries, and strengthened security architecture in collaboration with federal agencies and local stakeholders.
Meshe also praised the governor’s political dexterity, describing him as a unifying force within the APC and across party lines, whose consultative approach has fostered cohesion, loyalty and renewed faith in democratic governance.
“At a time when leadership requires firmness without arrogance and authority without alienation, Governor Aiyedatiwa has distinguished himself as a bridge-builder within the party, among traditional institutions and across the diverse communities of Ondo State,” he added.
He further remarked that the governor’s emphasis on continuity, institutional stability and people-focused policies has positioned Ondo State on a path of sustainable development, economic confidence and political harmony.
