Nigerian AirForce to deploy officers to Akure Airport

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, has charged the commander of the Quick Response Group 209 of the Nigerian Air Force, Ipetu-Ijesa in Osun State to make the Akure Airport a priority in discharge of his operational duties.

Governor Akeredolu said the State was ready to give all the necessary supports to the Command to ensure that its operations at the Akure Airport is comfortable.

Arakunrin Akeredolu spoke while playing host to the officers of the Quick Response Group 209 of the Nigerian Air Force Ipetu-Ijesa in Osun State led by Commander, Group Captain Idowu Ayo.

He stressed that the presence of the Nigerian Air Force officers was urgently needed at the Akure Airport more than ever before.

The Governor further explained that the presence of the Air Force in the state would also strengthen more, the security apparatus of the state.

Earlier, Group captain Ayo congratulated Governor Akeredolu on his re-election.

He said frantic efforts are already being made to ensure that the officers of the NAF are deployed to the Akure airport for swift response and other operational activities.

He thanked the Governor for his support while assuring that they are ready to serve the state diligently.
