PS: Biden needs only 6 votes to reach the target – 270 votes.

As counting continues in the US presidential elections, Joe Biden supporters marched in New York to demand every vote be counted, as President Trump’s supporters protested in Detroit demanding a halt to ballot counting in Michigan.

Joe Biden currently leading 253 votes on the electoral college while President Donald Trump has 214.

However, President Trump, has taken to Twitter lamenting the sudden large votes being recorded by his opponent, former Vice-President Joe Biden of the Democratic Party.

Biden has taken the lead in Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin and will be declared winner of the elections if he maintains the lead.

“They are finding Biden votes all over the place — in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. So bad for our country!”, the Republican candidate tweeted.

In subsequent tweets, he said, “Wow! It looks like Michigan has now found the ballots necessary to keep a wonderful young man, John James, out of the U.S. Senate. What a terrible thing is happening!

“We are winning Pennsylvania big, but the PA Secretary of State just announced that there are “Millions of ballots left to be counted.”

The American President had, a few hours ago, claimed victory in the election and threatened to go to the Supreme Court to stop what he termed voter fraud.

CNN and The New York Times, citing the Associated Press, called the race in favor of the former vice president, giving him 10 more electoral votes and a total so far of 253. The magic number for victory is 270.

The Trump campaign has announced its intention to request a recount in the state, citing “reports of irregularities… which raise serious doubts about the validity of the result.”

With 94 percent of votes counted in the state, Biden led Trump by about 20,000 votes.
