Ose LG Chair, Prince Adekunle Felicitates Oba Andrew Okioya Ilevare on his Appointment as Odibiado of Ijagba

The joy of the people of Ijagba in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State knew no bounds on Monday, 27th of June, 2022 following the approval of Oba Andrew Okioya Ilevare as the new Odibiado of Ijagba by the Ondo state government

Rejoicing with the new king on the approval and wide jubilation that greeted it, the Executive Chairman of Ose Local Government Area, Hon. (Prince) Adekunle Dennis (FCPA) says the wide jubilation by the people was an eloquent testimony that the new king is not only popular but widely accepted by his people.

Prince Adekunle therefore thanked the Governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, the state executive council and the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs for giving the people of Ijagba their choice of king.

The chairman also praised the maturity and high level of integrity displayed by Ijagba kingmakers during the selection process that led to the approval praying that the reign of the mornarch shall bring peace and rapid development to Ijagba and Ose local government as a whole.

While urging all sons and daughters of the community to co-operate and support the new Kabiyesi, the Council boss advised the king to be magnanimous in victory and carry everyone along in piloting the affairs of the heterogeneous Community.

He particularly commended the unwavering supports, lotalty and efforts of the Ibo chiefs (High Chiefs) and the entire residents of the historic town for maintaining the rich cultural heritage of Ijagba that led to the peaceful and successful installation of the new king.

The appointment takes effect from 21st of June, 2022.
