The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, yesterday felicitated the government and people of Nigeria, Ondo State in particular, as the country celebrates its Diamond anniversary.

The party chieftain expresses delight that Nigeria has made tremendous progress, especially in expanding the economy, as well as international recognition, despite myriad of challenges.

This is contained in a press statement issued by the party’s state publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye and a copy made available to SUNSHINETRUTH in Akure.

While calling for individual contributions to strengthen democracy in Nigeria, Adetimehin appealed to government at all levels to expand their frontier in their engagement of different strata of the society to promote social harmony.

The APC chairman reiterates that Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, is the best candidate for the gubernatorial election, urging residents to vote en masse for the APC flag bearer on October 10th.

He argues that a renewal of the mandate for the governor would pave the way for consolidation of development and industrialisation efforts of the government to transform the state economically.

The party chieftain is optimistic that Ondo State would record a bloodless gubernatorial election, and appealed to all political actors to put the wellbeing of others into consideration, and play the political game by the rules.
