In recognition of his selfless service to humanity, Rotary club of Akure has bestowed a distinguished service award on Dr Felix Ale, Head Media and Corporate Communications of Nigeria space research and development agency.
At the award ceremony in Akure, Ondo State which also marked the inauguration of Michael Kunduyo as the club’s 42nd president, Nigerians were urged to place humanity above self..

These humane virtues and contribution informed the presentation of a distinguished service award to him by the Rotary Club of Akure an, organisation advancing humanitarian assistance.
Standing in on his behalf on the occasion is his brother Femi who described the honour as a catalyst to do more.
He said the award would spur him to do more for his profession and humanity.
Dr Ale thanked the Rotary club International for the honour and promised not to let them down as one of their Ambassadors.
