Nov 18, 2021

A very distinguished Media Scholar and Head Media and Corporate Communications of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Dr. Felix Ale, has congratulated the Bobagunwa of Oka land, Dr Victor Olusegun Ategbole on his new appointment as Special Adviser in the Sunshine State.

The Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN announced Dr Ategbole on Wednesday as one of his cabinet members.

In a statement, the NASRDA’s spokesperson said Dr Ategbole is committed to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria saying “the new appointment does not come as a surprise.”

Dr Ale who hails from Oka Akoko said “Despite Ategbole’s tight schedule as a renowned Medical Practitioner of international repute in the United States of America, there is no activities in Oka since I grew up that he has not prominently identified or played his part.

One continues to wonder aloud how somebody who lives far away in the United states of America will be so committed to the development of his Community, Ondo State and country.

I recall, there was a particular month he visited Nigeria three times because of different occasions in Oka and some parts of the State.

What Governor Akeredolu has done is giving recognition to eminent Nigerian in the diaspora with impeccable credentials.

Dr Ategbole is a very unique man known for excellence, hardwok and highly revered for his level of patriotism.

I am sure the appointment of Ategbole being a renowned Medical Doctor in the United States will elicit positive reactions from his colleagues and the community of medical practice abroad where he remains a bonafide and distinguished member.

This is one of the greatest things that Governor Akeredolu has done for the people of Oka and Akoko as a whole.

I cannot thank Mr Governor enough for this kind gesture. This has once again reaffirmed that Aketi is a father to all and man with taste for excellence and hardwork.”
