Breaking: Pandemonium, One feared dead as shooting rocks Akure

There is a palpable tension in Akure, the ondo state capital currently over the alleged stabbing of one of the followers of masquerade, who was reportedly said to have given up ghost.
SUNSHINETRUTH gathered from an eyewitness who is a resident that the victim was said to have been allegedly stabbed by a trader, led to a reprasial attack on some traders around Oja oba in Akure.
The reason for the attack on the victim was yet to be ascertained, as he was said to have been stabbed at Odopetu area and lost so much blood in the process.
It was learnt that the situation caused pandemonium in the heart of the capital city for hours before security men were deployed to bring the unrest under control.
Many traders and residents around Oja Oba/Oba Adesida Road were seen running for their lives as some hoodlums were shooting heavily while the road was deserted of motorists for hours.
Efforts to speak with the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) proved abortive as his line was not reachable as at the time of filing in this report.
